July 1999 How to Use the Super Slide Step 1 – Roll the patient on his/her side. Place the transfer gurney portion of the SuperSlide next to the patient’s back. Step 2 – Position the patient on the transfer gurney portion of the SuperSlide. Extend the transfer slide in the direction of the transfer. Step 3 – Grasp hold of the handles on the tranfer gurney portion of the SuperSlide and begin the transfer by pulling the patient in the desired direction.
